: the judge just upped pistorius' bail to 1 million ran, the equivalent of 112,000 u.s. dollars and lots of conditions on this. pistorius has to surrender his passport, firearms, can't use drugs or alcohol, can't return to the crime scene which is his home. he needs permission to leave his town and has to check in with police twice a week. savannah? >> all right. michele kosinski with the breaking news in south africa. let's turn to john cue kelly a defense attorney who's got a lot of experience covering trials. john, good morning to you. >> how are you doing? >> good. let's look at this bail decision in perspective. i mean on the one hand, we saw a judge who really ripped the prosecution's case, aspects of it, called into question aspects of pistorius' story. does the bail decision have any real influence on what will ultimately happen at trial? >> no, it doesn't. it did give us a good look in terms of how the evidence will be received at trial. the judge didn't base his bail decision just on the strength or weakness of the prosecution's case. it had a lot to do with the community ties
